Introducing new president Karen Simcox

A longtime quilter and more recent weaver

· Children's Programmes

While stitching during the last few Wednesdays, I have been aware of how friendly and safe our environment at Karori Arts and Crafts is. We are a group of women of different ages, religions and nationalities who come together for friendship, inspiration and creativity. Winter is Coming! We all enjoy coming to the warm centre in our cold winter days. However, we do need to be aware that quite a few of our members are older or have compromised immunity through illness, so please stay at home if you are feeling unwell. We do like to share, but not coughs, colds and flu! Perhaps, you could consider getting a flu injection now to boost your own immunity.

I look forward to meeting you all in our lovely, warm and safe environment throughout the year. Term two classes and workshops begin on April 29th so get in quick to ensure your place. Do encourage your creative friends and family, or those who want to become creative to join us as members as we have so much to offer.
