Challenged and rewarded by Watercolour techniques

Graduated washes, dry-brush sparkling seas and variations in edges create New Plymouth's Three Sisters rocks

· Adult Classes Wrkshp

Robyn Eastgate-Manning visited New Plymouth's Three Sisters recently, and designed a watercolour class based on them. The Beginner's class found it demanding but rewarding with graduated washes, dry-brush sparkling seas and variations in edges; soft for clouds and hard for rocks. What do you think of Marylyn's two versions shown? The class members thought the colour on the left version was subtle and effective.
