Experiment with various art techniques in this kid-driven, fun-centric, after-school art class. Build self-confidence, develop skills in creative thinking, and most importantly, experiment! This course helps students find their own creative voice. Explore different media and learn while having a heap of fun. Develop basic skills and techniques and watch the magic happen!
The first 4 weeks of this course will be with Daisey Bingham, and the last 4 weeks will be with Rowena Fry.
About Rowena Fry
When I’d come home from school I’d grab a snack to eat and then settle in to draw. Now my favourite job is to welcome kids in the door and start doing the same thing.
With a background in theatre and film I am now an art teacher of primary school-aged kids, adults and the retired. I studied design and fine art at Inverlochy Art School, Massey and Victoria before graduating with a Bachelor of Design, majoring in illustration. I teach classes at Inverlochy Art School, Malvina Major Retirement Village and privately.
