Suitable for children aged 10yrs+
Learn the basics of crochet. Learn how to hold the crochet hook and the yarn. Make the basic stitches, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. Learn to read a simple crochet pattern, with both US and UK stitch names.
Students will work at their own pace, moving from chain stitch to granny square and beyond.
Students are welcome to use the yarn available at the Centre, or bring their own if they have something specific in mind. A crochet hook is provided with the class fee.
