Quilt As You Go - with Clare Smith

Sunday, 30 August <br>10 am to 4 pm<br><br>Learn the popular quilt-as-you-go method to create a finished project that is both practical and beautiful. Choose to make either a lined bag or up to 4 placemats. By the end of the class, you will have a completed project to take home. Along the way, learn to turn strips and squares into a quilt, when to use a walking foot, and how to create a mitred binding. <br><br>Sashiko stitching and machine quilting will also be demonstrated as embellishment options to explore further at home.<br><br>This class is suitable for beginner quilters, though basic sewing machine experience is helpful.
