      Friday 11th Learn to Sew or Continue Sewing with Brenda Turner. Kids aged 7+

      9.30am to 4pm This class involves simple projects, like those shown, to teach children basic sewing skills. It is ideal for beginners. However,
      those children who have done Brenda's classes before, can attend and make a project of their choice. For example: Pajama Pants and or a smart knitting bag. If making their own project your child will need: a pattern, fabric and notions e.g. buttons, zip thread etc and sewing machine.

      Beginners will get a material pack to make all their projects, just bring your sewing machine. Some machines are available to use on the day by arrangement.

      Learn to Knit - begin with garter stitch and then progress to purl stitch making either a scarf or headband.
      Then you can learn to knit in stocking stitch using both plain and purl stitch.

      1) Hahnemule A3 size 300 gsm rough 10 sheets plus 1 sheet Fabriano paper that you can rip to more irregluar sizes.
      2) A paint palette and paint in the base colours required for class. This covers 2 applications of each colour in your palette enough for 8 wks Cotman Student
      3) Brushes can be bought in a cheap Reeves set or individually, you will also need a round size 20 with the set or one of each brush.
      Materials available at the centre on your first class of term or by arrangement once payment made. A cheaper set of Pebeo paint for $19-25 can be purchased by arrangement.

    Purchases and Enrolments
    All purchases and enrolments on our website www.kacc.org.nz are subject to confirmation from Karori Arts and Crafts. You will receive an email confirming completion of your order or purchase. Once this confirmation is received any cancelations and refunds will be as specified by our Refund policy below.
    
    All prices on our website are in New Zealand dollars and include GST if applicable.
    
    No classes or workshops are held on public holidays.
    
    Payments
    Payments can be made by deposit into our bank account specified in our email to the address provided by you when ordering. Payments are required within 48 hours. Any payments not received within this time may result in your order being cancelled.
    
    Creditcard payments may also be made through a secure payment process on our website. 
    
    When payment has been received we will send you an email confirming your purchase.
    
    Refunds
    A full refund or credit of classes and workshop fees paid will be offered if KACC cancels any workshop or class prior to the start date. You will be notified of any such refunds at least 48 hours prior to the start date.
    
    If a participant has to cancel due to an emergency you can apply to us for a refund or credit. This needs to be received within 7 days of scheduled start date. These are considered on an individual basis.
