Loads of fun and adventure with drawing, painting and crafting with our creative tutor Melissa. Draw, paint and make based on artists who inspire young ones. Suitable for children aged 5-10 yrs old. Materials included.

In 8 weeks Rachel will teach technique and approaches to composing landscapes or still life in a contemporary style. Learn composition, colour theory and layering with paint and mediums. Also learn to evaluate your own work and receive feedback and advice from Rachel. Returning students are welcome.

Using examples, demonstration and structured exercises Margaret will guide you in observing and capturing a range of objects that cover core shapes to master. This class extends art skills across a wide range of disciplines while helping each young person find and develop their own style. It complements high school level art & makes transition from teacher led to student led activity. Materials included. T3 Tue 3 Aug - 21 Sep Watercolour Painting Tutor: Robyn Eastgate-Manning

Robyn covers a wide range of techniques during her classes using demonstrations and tailored feedback once students begin the exercises. Each class begins with a review of work completed since the last class. A review of work produced during class is also undertaken. Suitable for keen beginners who are eager to learn and experienced watercolourists alike. Students bring their own materials see the list below. Supplies from Gordon Harris (Vivienne St), Takapuna Art Supplies or French Art Shop (online)
1) Hahnemule A3, 300 gsm rough 10 sheets plus 1 sheet Fabriano paper that you can rip to more irregluar sizes. 2) A paint palette and paint in the base colours required for class. This covers 2 applications of each colour in your palette enough for 8 wks Cotman Student 3) Brushes can be bought in a cheap Reeves set or individually, you will also need a round size 20 with the set or one of each brush. Materials available at the centre on your first class of term or by arrangement once payment made. A cheaper set of Pebeo paint for $19-25 can be purchased by arrangement.
T3: Wed 4 Aug - 22 Sep from 7-9pm, Intermediate Watercolour - Robyn Eastgate-Manning

This course is the next step for those who have some experience under their belts and want to continue learning more about watercolour. We highly recommend that participants complete the Learn to Draw and Paint Beginners course before advancing to this one. We can accommodate a beginner if this night works better for you or there are insufficient numbers to run the other Class.

Purchases and Enrolments
All purchases and enrolments on our website www.kacc.org.nz are subject to confirmation from Karori Arts and Crafts. You will receive an email confirming completion of your order or purchase. Once this confirmation is received any cancelations and refunds will be as specified by our Refund policy below.
All prices on our website are in New Zealand dollars and include GST if applicable.
No classes or workshops are held on public holidays.
Payments can be made by deposit into our bank account specified in our email to the address provided by you when ordering. Payments are required within 48 hours. Any payments not received within this time may result in your order being cancelled.
Creditcard payments may also be made through a secure payment process on our website.
When payment has been received we will send you an email confirming your purchase.
A full refund or credit of classes and workshop fees paid will be offered if KACC cancels any workshop or class prior to the start date. You will be notified of any such refunds at least 48 hours prior to the start date.
If a participant has to cancel due to an emergency you can apply to us for a refund or credit. This needs to be received within 7 days of scheduled start date. These are considered on an individual basis.
