Slipcase magic that safeguards your books

Rosemary Greager teaches the Book Interest Group how-to

· Interest Groups

On Sunday 8 July, Rosemary Greager taught several of us how to make slip-cases. Rosemary provided materials and comprehensive instructions to the group. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire process from measuring and cutting the boards, lining the boards, assembling and then covering the box. Some of the turn-ins were quite fiddly, but we all came away with a completed slip-cover in which our chosen books fit well. As a bonus to try at home, Rosemary also gave us instructions and material to make a “10 Minute” Slip-Case using card. It was a fun day and we now have two methods of conserving our books.
