Designed for absolute beginners or those returning after a long break from painting. Magic in the Ordinary: pen and watercolour sketchbook - with Andrew James

Thursdays 7:30 to 9:30 pm<br>9 October to 4 December (no class 27 November)<br>8 Week Course<br><br>Your life is the longest thing you ever do - it deserves to be recorded! Andrew James presents how to keep an illustrated journal in pen and watercolour. No subject matter is off-limits.<br><br>In this fun and encouraging class, we'll learn how to draw moments from our lives in our sketchbooks and then bring those sketches to life with watercolour. The first week is an introduction to the wonderful world of watercolour, and each following week, we will look at different genres of sketchbook drawing, taking a page from one of Andrew's books and learning to create your version of it.<br><br>Andrew takes the course in the direction the class dictates, making each term of this course different and fresh. <br><br>Some genres covered include:<br>- Interior scenes - bathrooms, lounges, kitchens<br>- Collections of objects - like kids' toys, tools or <br>- Food and drink. Progressing with Watercolours - with Robyn Eastgate-Manning

Tuesdays 9:45 am to 12:15 pm<br>7 October to 25 November<br>8-week class<br><br>This 8-week course is for painters who are familiar with the basics and want to progress their knowledge of watercolour painting.<br>The class consists of two hours of tuition from 9.45 to 11.45 am and half an hour of studio time, during which students are encouraged to continue painting.<br>Robyn demonstrates a wide range of techniques and tailors class content based on the desires of her students. <br>
