Stylised flower represents our vibrancy and diversity

Introducing our new logo

March 20, 2019
Following a successful release during the 2019 AGM, our committee is delighted to introduce our new logo to you.

Shown above, the round stylised flower represents the vibrancy and diversity of Karori Arts and Crafts. It also reinforces the uniqueness of each of our creative activities and the importance of colour to so many of them.

Just like a flower the logo represents how our community grows and develops through our activities. The stem and the leaf of the bloom also form the K of Karori and reinforce our strong local heritage.

Thanks to the voluntary work of graphic designer and committee member Maria Bozina, our only cost for development of the logo was the committee’s time to review, discuss and select this wonderful design.

Each paid-up member will receive a new personalised name-tag. This uses a simplified version of the logo that will also be featured as appropriate. We propose to store the name-tags next to the sign-in book to encourage their use. They really are important in promoting conversation between new and long-time members. After each group session or class, simply return your name tag to their storage container until your next visit.
