Our final walk for 2018 was along the foreshore footpath from Island Bay toward Houghton Bay. Due to the beautiful, fine, calm day and the flat path we had a good number of walkers participate.

At 11.30am twenty-three of us, including some who hadn't been able to make the walk, met at The Beach House Café for lunch. In all, a most enjoyable end to the year's programme. Sadly we were so busy socialising we have no photos to prove it! Report by Janet Tremewan.
